SM Entertainment has officially invested in Great M Entertainment, becoming the second-largest shareholder and supporting the rise of six-member hip-hop boy group 82MAJOR.

This investment is part of SM’s ‘SM 3.0’ multi-label strategy, aiming to increase its musical diversity and global competitiveness. 82MAJOR is known for their hip-hop sound, self-produced music, and international chart success, including entering the Billboard charts just a year after debut.
After a successful mini album and sold-out concerts in Korea, 82MAJOR is preparing for their solo US tour this summer, further establishing their status as a ‘global performance idol.’
SM plans to continue expanding through investments and acquisitions, enhancing its influence and creative reach worldwide.
