RBW has announced a new strategic copyright partnership with NetEase Cloud Music, one of China’s leading music platforms. This move aims to expand K-Pop’s influence among China’s younger generation.
Exclusive K-Pop Content for Chinese Fans
Through this collaboration, RBW will provide exclusive access to songs from its top artists, including MAMAMOO, ONEUS, ONEWE, and PURPLE KISS. Solo releases from Solar and Moonbyul are already available, with future tracks set for exclusive early release on the platform.
Strengthening Korea-China Music Collaboration
This partnership goes beyond music distribution, aiming to foster deeper industry cooperation and cultural exchange between Korea and China. NetEase Cloud Music boasts over 200 million monthly active users, especially popular among listeners born in the 1990s and 2000s.
An RBW spokesperson stated, “Our partnership with NetEase Cloud Music is built on trust and will enhance K-Pop’s competitive edge through various collaborations.”
Currently, RBW and its affiliates hold around 8,500 music copyrights and related rights, driving their global content production and distribution strategy.
This collaboration marks a significant step in bringing K-Pop to an even wider audience in China.
