NCT member Yuta is set to throw the ceremonial first pitch at the Orix Buffaloes vs. Saitama Seibu Lions professional baseball game on June 1 in Hyogo, Japan. This special appearance is part of the ‘#Connected Korea KOREA DAY’ event, hosted by the Korea Tourism Organization to promote Korean tourism in Japan.
Yuta, known for his global reach as a Japanese member of NCT, was specially selected for this role. His selection highlights his unique position as a Japanese star thriving in the Korean entertainment industry and captivating fans worldwide.
This isn’t Yuta’s first pitch: he previously took the mound at an LA Dodgers Major League Baseball game in 2019 alongside NCT 127 members, showcasing his international popularity.
Yuta’s Rising Success in Japan
Beyond baseball, Yuta continues to shine with his solo Japanese single ‘TWISTED PARADISE,’ released on May 14. The single includes four tracks and has achieved two consecutive weeks at No. 1 on the Oricon Rock Singles Chart, as well as topping iTunes charts in eight regions.
Fans can also look forward to Yuta’s upcoming performances on major Japanese music shows such as ‘Music Station’ on June 6 and ‘Chou Onpa’ on June 13.
