Lee Soo-man, legendary K-pop producer and A2O key visionary, has led a successful urban greening campaign in Los Angeles, raising over $1.25 million (approx. 1.7 billion KRW) for tree planting in underprivileged communities.

The campaign, organized with KYCC (Koreatown Youth & Community Center), began with Lee Soo-man’s personal donation of $500,000 in September 2024, and attracted over $755,000 in additional support from various organizations and individuals.
More than 1,000 climate-resilient trees have been planted across South LA, Pico-Union, and Koreatown, with over 500 volunteers, including youth and local residents, actively participating.

Girls’ Generation’s Sunny and A2O’s global girl group A2O MAY took part in the planting event, highlighting K-pop’s commitment to sustainability. A2O MAY, known for their Billboard Top 40 debut ‘Under My Skin,’ continues to showcase global influence.
