Kim Sae-ron’s Final Film ‘Guitar Man’ Opens May 30
The late actress Kim Sae-ron’s final work, Guitar Man, is set to hit theaters on May 30. The film captures the bittersweet farewell of a young star gone too soon—and a story filled with hope, music, and healing.

Guitar Man follows Ki-chul, a genius guitarist navigating a harsh reality. After joining a live club band called Volcano, he meets Yujin, a keyboardist who changes his life.
The role of Ki-chul is played by the film’s director Lee Sun-jung, while Kim Sae-ron takes on the role of Yujin.

Director Lee recalled,
“Sae-ron always brought bright energy to the set. She had such passion. I truly hoped this film would be her strong return.”
He added, “Like the OST title, ‘A World Without Pain’, I hope she’s now in a world without suffering.”
