Jake Calls ‘DESIRE : UNLEASH’ ENHYPEN’s Most Authentic Album Yet
After their explosive Coachella debut, ENHYPEN gears up for a powerful comeback with an album that embodies their true identity.
On May 11, ENHYPEN held a premiere event at Megabox COEX in Seoul for their DESIRE Concept Cinema, a visual prelude to their upcoming 6th mini album DESIRE : UNLEASH, which drops on June 5.
Jake shared that the album was completed before their historic Coachella performance:
“We worked on the album while preparing for Coachella. A lot of people gained interest in ENHYPEN after the festival, and I hope they’ll look forward to this album—it’s the most ENHYPEN-like album we’ve made.”
He expressed confidence that even first-time listeners will quickly recognize the group’s signature sound and charm through this release.
On the core theme of the album, Jake emphasized the universal nature of desire:
“Desire is a part of everyone—it’s human instinct. For us, that desire is to show more performances to more people. We’ve prepared a lot for this album, and our goal is to achieve great results in 2025. That’s our desire.”
DESIRE : UNLEASH tells the story of longing and passion directed toward someone you love, portrayed through ENHYPEN’s unique emotional lens.
The DESIRE Concept Cinema full video will premiere at midnight KST on May 12.
