Rising K-pop girl group ILLIT has made a major impact on the Billboard Japan Hot 100, placing two songs on the 2025 mid-year chart.
According to Billboard Japan’s recent report, ILLIT’s debut track ‘Magnetic’ ranked at #58, while their first Japanese original song ‘Almond Chocolate’ entered at #80. Notably, ILLIT is the only K-pop artist with two songs on this chart.
Consistent Chart Success
‘Magnetic’ continues its impressive run, having previously secured the highest overseas artist ranking in last year’s annual chart and earning a Double Platinum streaming certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan. ‘Almond Chocolate,’ produced as a theme song for a Japanese film, gained popularity through word of mouth, achieving a top 10 position on the Oricon Weekly Streaming Ranking.
Upcoming Comeback and Concerts
ILLIT will return on June 16 with their third mini-album ‘bomb,’ featuring the title track ‘Do the Dance’ and other trendy, addictive songs. Prior to the comeback, the group will hold their ‘2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY IN SEOUL’ fan event and embark on a series of concerts in Japan this August and September.
With chart-topping hits and exciting activities ahead, ILLIT’s momentum shows no signs of slowing down.
