GIDLE captivated students across major South Korean universities with electrifying festival performances, celebrating youth and music.
From May 23 to 27, GIDLE (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) performed at top university festivals, including Soongsil, Hanyang, Yonsei, Myongji, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and Ajou. Their appearances coincided with promotions for their 8th mini album ‘We are’, making each stage a special event for students.
The group thrilled audiences with live renditions of their new title track “Good Thing,” as well as other hits like “Girlfriend,” “Queencard,” “MY BAG,” “TOMBOY,” and “Wife.” The crowd responded with enthusiastic singalongs, turning every performance into a vibrant celebration.
GIDLE further impressed fans at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies by greeting the audience in multiple languages, including Japanese, English, Thai, and Chinese. The members also interacted closely with students, taking selfies and shaking hands, creating lasting memories.
Expressing gratitude, GIDLE said, “Thank you for the amazing energy and passionate atmosphere.” They concluded their stages with the heartfelt song “Because I Hate Being Sick,” offering comfort and encouragement to students.
Meanwhile, GIDLE is continuing their comeback promotions, appearing on Mnet’s ‘M Countdown’ this week.
