FIFTY FIFTY Drops ‘Midnight Special’ MV Teaser
K-pop girl group FIFTY FIFTY has released the teaser for their special music video “Midnight Special”, a B-side track from their 3rd mini album Day & Night. The teaser, unveiled on May 9, showcases the members’ chic visuals with black cat-inspired motifs, offering a darker, edgier contrast to their bubbly title track “Pookie.”
“Midnight Special” is an uptempo pop track that captures the vibrant energy of the night. With 808-style drums, deep bass, warm Rhodes keyboard, and electric guitar, the track blends modern and classic pop elements. Lyrically, it portrays a group of girls facing their fears and regrets during one final night—comforting each other and finding the courage to escape together.
Despite being a short teaser, the video made a strong impression with its cinematic visuals and high production quality. The full music video drops on May 13 at 6 PM KST, and fans are excited to see this unexpected new side of the group.
