Dreamcatcher unit UAU has revealed the story behind their debut and mini-album release.
UAU, consisting of JiU, SuA, and Yoohyeon, held their debut showcase in Seoul to celebrate their first mini-album, Playlist #You Are You.
Six Years in the Making
Leader JiU explained, “Six years ago, the three of us filmed a dance video that received great feedback. Since then, we always talked about creating something together. The timing finally felt right, so we decided to release a song that suits us.”
Changes in Dreamcatcher
Earlier this year, Handong, Dami, and Gahyeon left Dreamcatcher Company but remain part of Dreamcatcher’s group activities. Meanwhile, Siyeon will focus on band activities, offering fans fresh experiences.
Debut Album Release
UAU’s first mini-album Playlist #You Are You was released on May 28 across major online music platforms.
Fans can look forward to new performances and unique unit activities from Dreamcatcher in the coming months.
