BTS V’s Triumphant Return: Fans Light Up the City
BTS member V is set to complete his military service, and fans in China and Korea are celebrating his return in spectacular fashion. The fan club Baidu V Bar has announced five major projects to honor his discharge on June 10.
Citywide Celebrations: Buses, Ads, and LED Trucks
Two wrapped buses featuring V’s image will run through Seoul and Chuncheon from June 10 to 14, marking his return from 548 days of service. A massive 237㎡ billboard with messages like “V IS BACK” will be displayed in Seongsu-dong, while two LED trucks will circle HYBE headquarters, sharing over 180 supportive fan messages.
Fan Events and Global Impact
A cafe near HYBE will host a special event for V’s discharge and BTS’s 12th anniversary, complete with photo zones, installations, and exclusive merchandise. These projects follow previous record-breaking fan events, including light shows at Dubai’s Burj Khalifa and a giant mural at V’s elementary school in Daegu.
