🪖 BTS Members Near Discharge — Comeback Hopes Soar Ahead of FESTA 2025
The wait is almost over. The stage is calling.
As the members of BTS near the end of their military service, anticipation for their reunion is reaching a fever pitch.
🔥 V (Taehyung) & Jungkook Grab Attention with Bulked-Up Visuals
V (Kim Taehyung), who is set to be discharged on June 10, recently went viral after photos of his muscular physique were posted by bodybuilder Choi Han-jin. Sporting a fitted tank top and defined arms, V stunned fans — his name instantly trended worldwide on Twitter and Google across over 50 countries, including the US, UK, and South Korea.
Jungkook, who is also expected to be discharged on June 11, appeared in the same photo set, showing off equally strong visuals and playful energy. Fans dubbed the two as “Captain Korea duo”, celebrating their glowing post-military transformation.
🎵 RM & V Keep Momentum with Music Even Before Discharge
RM recently surprised fans with a new collaboration with Tablo of Epik High. The track, titled ‘STILL LOVE’, was released on May 2, having been recorded two years ago. It marks their second project together since ‘All Day’ from RM’s solo album Indigo.
With Tablo’s razor-sharp flow and RM’s deep-toned voice, the emotional track is being praised for its rawness and lyrical depth — making fans even more excited for RM’s full return.
🏆 BTS Dominates Charts Even During Military Hiatus
Despite serving, BTS members continue to rack up accolades:
- V’s solo album Layover has surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify. His track ‘Slow Dancing’ also charted for 70 consecutive weeks on global charts.
- Jungkook’s hit ‘Seven’ has broken records with 94 consecutive weeks on global Billboard charts — the longest for any Asian soloist.
- Jimin’s second solo track ‘Who’ (from MUSE) charted for 33 weeks, beating previous BTS hits like ‘Dynamite’ and even PSY’s ‘Gangnam Style’.
📀 Jin & J-Hope Fuel Comeback Excitement
Jin will release his 2nd mini album ‘Echo’ on May 16, while J-Hope recently held a solo world tour for his single ‘Sweet Dreams’ — with an encore stadium concert scheduled for June 13 at Goyang Sports Complex in Korea.
🎉 Why June 13, 2025 Could Be Historic for BTS
June 13 marks BTS’s debut anniversary, and this year it may be more special than ever. With Jin, J-Hope, RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook all expected to be discharged by then (SUGA remains in public service), there’s a chance that the 6 members could reunite on stage for the first time since enlistment.
During a recent Weverse live, J-Hope shared:
“June 13 is meaningful to BTS and ARMY, especially since most of us will have completed our service by then. It truly feels like FESTA this year will be something special.”
📅 BTS FESTA 2025 + J-Hope’s Encore Concert
BTS has traditionally hosted FESTA every June — a fan festival filled with content drops, performances, and offline events. With J-Hope’s encore show kicking off on the same day, expectations are high that the two events may align in unforgettable ways.
