🎬 ‘Charisma in a Black Suit’ — BTS Jin Stuns with Action Star Potential in New Variety Episode

BTS’s Jin isn’t just an idol — he’s a full-on action star in the making.

In Episode 33 of the BTS original variety series ‘Run Jin’ (달려라 석진), released on May 6 via the group’s official YouTube channel, Jin took on his boldest challenge yet: becoming the lead in a cinematic-style action short.

🕶 From Suits to Stunts

The episode opened with Jin in a sleek black suit, walking into darkness before being kidnapped by unknown figures — setting the tone with intense, movie-like direction. The dramatic flair instantly pulled viewers in.

But the real training began when Jin arrived at a renowned “Action School” led by legendary Korean stunt director Jung Doo-hong. Though initially shocked by the complex moves of professional stuntmen, Jin quickly adapted with his trademark agility and surprising finesse.

🪂 Mastering Wire Action

The standout moment? Jin executing wire-assisted aerial spins. As he flipped and landed repeatedly, his posture and movement grew increasingly refined. Jung Doo-hong praised him, saying, “I expected him to do well because of his dance background, but this exceeded expectations.”

Later, Jin teamed up with stunt actors for a “one-take action scene” — no script, just raw instinct and timing. He nailed the scene on the first try, earning cheers and applause from everyone on set.

🎭 Idol Turned Actor?

Jin’s performance transcended variety. His immersive acting, dedication, and visible growth sparked admiration from fans and professionals alike. Many viewers commented:

  • “Is this a variety show or a short film?”
  • “Jin is ready to debut as an actor.”
  • “The next K-action star is here!”

Global fans also praised his potential, calling him a rising face of Korean action cinema.

🥋 What’s Next for Jin?

According to the preview, the next episode will feature Jin learning Taekwondo alongside WINNER’s Kang Seungyoon. The series ‘Run Jin’ airs every Tuesday on BTS’s official YouTube channel and is available one hour later on global fan platform Weverse.
