BTS Jimin Nears Military Discharge
BTS’s Jimin is set to complete his military service on June 11, and fans are marking the occasion with a series of meaningful events and tributes in Yeoncheon.
Colorful Support from Fans
Fan union ‘Park Jimin Preservation Society’ launched special bus wraps running between Jeongok, Yeoncheon, and the military base, from May through June. Over 100 street lamp banners and 230 more from international fanbases like ‘PJM Hungary’ and ‘TEAM JIMIN AUSTRALIA’ add to the festive atmosphere.
In partnership with ‘Park Jimin USA,’ fans also installed large welcome banners over Yeoncheon’s main footbridge, displaying messages like “We’re proud of you! Welcome back, Jimin!”
Giving Back to the Community
The ‘Jimin Apple Music Team’ created a mini bus stop near Jimin’s base for soldiers and locals, featuring a yellow Jimin-themed bench and clean facilities—earning praise from the community.
Jimin’s Exemplary Service
Jimin was recognized during his service as an outstanding soldier, receiving top trainee honors and early promotion. Fans eagerly await his return to civilian life on June 11.
