ASTRO’s JinJin successfully completed his final performance as Song Sam-dong in the musical adaptation of ‘Dream High’ at Seoul Olympic Park’s Woori Financial Art Hall on May 31.
The show, based on the hit 2011 KBS2 drama, captures the journey of young hopefuls aspiring to become K-pop stars. JinJin, who previously played Jason in the 2023 premiere, took on the lead role of Song Sam-dong for the revival, captivating audiences in both Korea and Japan.
JinJin’s solid vocals, acting skills, and stage presence drew enthusiastic praise from fans and critics alike. Audience members commented on his strong vocal leadership and his perfect fit for the character.
JinJin Reflects on Growth
Through his agency Fantagio, JinJin expressed gratitude, stating, “‘Dream High’ is a precious project that helped me grow.” He also thanked his fellow cast members and promised to finish the extended run strong.

JinJin will continue starring in ‘Dream High’ until July 20. Earlier this year, he also held his first solo concerts, ‘JIN LAB Vol.1 – Find Your Groove,’ in Korea and Japan, further establishing his solo career.
