BTS Jimin’s fans have celebrated his recent military discharge by donating 2 million KRW to the Army Comradeship Fund. This act of kindness honors Jimin’s own charitable spirit, as he previously donated 100 million KRW to the same cause during his service.
Continuing Jimin’s Legacy of Giving
The fanclub’s donation to the ‘Wiguk Heonsin Comradeship Fund’ reflects Jimin’s positive influence. In 2023, Jimin became an Honor Society member by supporting soldiers facing hardship, stating his wish to help those who served the nation.
According to fan representatives, the donation not only celebrates Jimin’s discharge but also expresses gratitude to all soldiers who have fulfilled their duty.
Supporting Soldiers and Families
The fund, jointly managed by Chungnam’s Community Chest and the Korean Army since 2018, aids soldiers and their families facing emergencies due to accidents or illness during service.
Jimin’s philanthropic efforts include supporting children and education, and he is currently preparing for new music activities. BTS is expected to reunite for group promotions in 2025 after all members complete their service.
