Announced on June 10, the Billboard list celebrates leaders from independent music companies making major impacts worldwide. Both Tak Young-jun, now a four-time honoree, and Jang Cheol-hyuk, selected for the second consecutive year, reinforce SM’s global influence.
SM’s 30th Anniversary Achievements
Billboard highlighted SM’s 30th anniversary, citing ambitious projects like SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in Seoul, LA, Mexico City, and Tokyo, as well as new music releases. Notable artist successes, including NCT 127, aespa, RIIZE, and the debut of new girl group Hearts2Hearts, were also spotlighted.
