BIGBANG’s Taeyang has achieved a remarkable milestone as his track ‘Make Love’ recorded a 200-fold increase in performance royalties, according to Musicow’s April report.
The song’s royalties soared to 1,124 KRW, marking the highest monthly jump among all listed tracks. This surge follows Taeyang’s successful world tour, which also boosted other songs like ‘텅빈도로’ and ‘WAKE ME UP’ by 60 to 130 times.
Other Notable Royalty Climbers
2NE1 and Lovelyz also saw their reunion tracks ‘박수쳐’ and ‘삼각형’ rise in the rankings. Meanwhile, MONSTA X’s ‘BEASTMODE’ led the overall media category, up 250 times after being featured in a movie OST.
