BTS Jimin Makes History at BMI Pop Awards

BTS’s Jimin has secured two major accolades at the 2025 BMI Pop Awards in Los Angeles, proving his remarkable influence as a K-pop soloist. The awards, presented by Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI), honored Jimin for having two songs—”Like Crazy” from his debut album FACE and “Who” from his second album MUSE—listed among the Most-Performed Songs of the Year.

Record-Breaking K-pop Solo Achievements
This marks the first time a K-pop soloist, without any collaborations, has received dual honors in this category. Jimin’s tracks were also the only K-pop entries among Universal Music Publishing Group’s 28 most-performed songs, underscoring his recognition in the U.S. market.

“Like Crazy” stood out as the only Korean-language song to win this year and earned Jimin a spot as a two-time BMI awardee, following its previous win at the 2024 BMI London Awards.
Looking Ahead: Jimin’s Solo Future
Despite currently serving in the military, Jimin continues to make waves internationally, also winning at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards and 2024 MAMA Awards. Fans eagerly anticipate his future solo projects following his discharge in June.
