TWS Achieves Gold Certification in Japan

Rising K-pop boy group TWS has earned a significant achievement in Japan with their third mini album, ‘TRY WITH US’. According to the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), the album surpassed 100,000 shipments in April, granting it the prestigious Gold certification.

Continuing Their Success

This marks TWS’s second consecutive Gold-certified release, following their debut single album ‘Last Bell’. The accomplishment is especially notable as it comes just ahead of their official Japanese debut this summer, raising anticipation for the group’s future activities.

Chart Performance and Upcoming Debut

‘TRY WITH US’ tells a story of youth bravely facing new challenges. Its title track, ‘Isn’t It Cool to Follow Your Heart?’, has captivated fans with its bright, energetic vibe. The album ranked No.2 on Oricon’s Weekly Album and Combined Album charts, and No.5 on Billboard Japan’s Hot Albums chart.

Domestically, TWS swept all major music show trophies, securing six wins and becoming the first fifth-generation boy group to achieve a music show grand slam.

Looking Ahead to Japanese Debut

TWS will officially debut in Japan on July 2 with the single ‘Nice to See You Again’ (original title: はじめまして/ Hajimemashite). The release will feature three tracks, including original Japanese songs, showcasing the group’s refreshing charm and promising an exciting new chapter for fans.
