IVE’s Ahn Yujin Gifts Benz to Dad
Ahn Yujin, leader of K-pop girl group IVE, recently revealed that she gifted her father a Mercedes-Benz GLE — all because of one casual comment he made after watching her on TV.
On a new episode of YouTube series “Channel Fifteen Nights”, Ahn Yujin joined PD Na Young-seok for a springtime drive. During the show, Na jokingly pointed out that the car they were in was “the chubbier version” of his wife’s Benz. It turns out, this same vehicle caught the attention of Ahn Yujin’s father when he saw her driving it in a previous episode of tvN’s “Earth Arcade”.
“My dad said he wanted the same model after watching the show,” said Yujin. “So I changed his car. It’s a Benz GLE.” Her effortless generosity surprised fans and crew alike.
While driving during the episode, Yujin teased PD Na, who was visibly nervous in the passenger seat. “I want my dad to try this. It really releases dopamine!” she joked. Na responded in mock fear, saying, “This feels like a horror game. One death and it’s over!”
The fun episode also included a wild behind-the-scenes story from Na Young-seok, who once intervened in an in-flight altercation — leading actor Choi Woo-shik to text him, “Did you beat up a robber or something?”
Fans flooded social media with praise for Ahn Yujin, calling her “young and rich,” “the ultimate filial daughter,” and “a real-life genie.” One comment summed it up: “Ahn Yujin just being Ahn Yujin is already a gift.”
Born in 2003, Ahn Yujin is the charismatic leader of IVE and currently stars in “Earth Arcade 3” on tvN alongside Lee Eun-ji, Mimi, and Lee Young-ji. This season features a fun-filled journey through Abu Dhabi and Portugal, packed with chaotic games and hilarious chemistry between the members.
