“30 Days to Go!” BTS RM Teases Military Discharge on Instagram
RM of BTS marks one month until his military discharge, stirring excitement among ARMY worldwide.
On May 11, BTS leader RM (real name Kim Namjoon) shared a screenshot from a mobile app that counts down the remaining days of military service. The screen read, “30 days left until discharge! How about sharing your must-have military items with your juniors?”—hinting that RM’s official return is fast approaching.
RM enlisted in December 2023 and is scheduled to be discharged on June 10, 2025. Despite being away from group activities, he has stayed connected with fans by sharing candid photos during leave and engaging with ARMY through social media.
In April, RM left a heartfelt comment “So touching” under a post showing Jin performing live with Coldplay, reflecting his continued emotional bond with BTS and fans.
As of now, members Jin and J-Hope have completed their military service and resumed individual activities. RM and V will discharge on June 10, followed by Jimin and Jungkook on June 11. SUGA, who is serving as a public service worker, will finish his alternative service later in June.
With all seven members completing their military duties, BTS is expected to reunite as a full group starting mid-2025.
